Abstract
Listeria monocytogenes is a rare cause of mycotic aneurysms, endocarditis, and other endovascular infections. Arterial aneurysms caused by Listeria monocytogenes are very rare. Only 19 cases have been previously described in the literature from around the world, and no case has been reported in Korea. We recently experienced a patient who had a history of Listeria monocytogenes bacteremia and developed an abdominal aortic dissected aneurysm. Here, we report this case along with a review of the literature.(Korean J Med 73:S951-S955, 2007)
