| Abstract |
|
We present a case of intramedullary spinal cord metastasis as the initial manifestation of small cell lung cancer recurrence. Intramedullary spinal cord metastasis is rare, but it should be considered in a cancer patient presenting with asymmetrical myelopathy symptoms. Considering the poor prognosis of this disease, an early diagnosis based on gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and early treatment may improve the patient’s neurological deficit and quality of life. |
