- Abstract
- About 50 percent of acute leukemia involves the gastrointestinal tract. A considerable number of patients with the lesions have no symptoms, but in some rare cases, severe complications occur which require surgical management and can even cause death. While most of leukemic infiltrations of the gastrointestinal tract occur in lymphoma, T-cell lineage leukemia, or myeloid leukemia, B-cell lineage leukemia rarely develops these complications. We report the first case in Korea that we experienced and treated of precursor B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia exhibiting multiple gastric leukemic polyposis.(Korean J Med 70:S113-S117, 2006)
