- 꽈리샘종은 폐에서 발생하는 매우 드문 양성종양으로 영 상의학적 소견과 경피적 흉부 세침흡인생검으로는 진단이 어렵고 수술적 절제를 통한 조직학적 소견 및 면역화학 검 사를 통한 정확한 진단이 필요하다. 현재까지 꽈리샘종은 한 국에서 보고된 증례가 없으며 더욱이 다발성 결절로 발현된 경우는 전 세계적으로도 매우 희귀하다. 본 연구자들은 기침 을 주소로 내원한 57세 여자 환자에서 흉부 X-선상 두 개의 폐 결절을 발견하여 비디오보조흉강경수술을 통해 진단된 꽈리샘종을 경험하였기에 보고하며 향후 단일 폐 결절 및 다발성 폐 결절 감별진단에 꽈리샘종이 포함되어야 할 것으 로 사료된다.

- Abstract
- Alveolar adenoma is a very rare benign intraparenchymal lung tumor originating from type II pneumocytes. It can be mistaken for other benign tumors or lung cancer in radiological images. It is especially difficult to distinguish alveolar adenoma from sclerosing hemangioma. A small aspiration biopsy specimen, such as with percutaneous needle aspiration, is insufficient for a pathological diagnosis. Surgical resection is the only method by which a pathological diagnosis can be made and the disease treated. An alveolar adenoma presenting as multiple nodules is very rare and has to our knowledge not been reported in Korea previously. Here, we report a case of alveolar adenoma in multiple nodules in a 57-year-old female and review the literature. (Korean J Med 2014;86:623-626)
